Gutturnio Superiore Sinsäl 2012, Torre Fornello

The term “Sinsäl” was once used in the countryside to indicate the seller of agricultural products and for matchmakers of sons and daughters of various wealthy families. Likewise this wine is a marriage of two different varietals, Barbera and Croatina. Captivating, elegant, and complex. Ages 9 months in steel with 20% of its mass aging in wood. Suggested pairing: wild boar with chocolate.
