Montepulciano d´Abruzzo Cocciapazza 2012, Torre dei Beati

Cocciapazza is the former name of the area where these vineyards are located. With the goal of obtaining the most mature and structured wine, the harvests are usually split into three separate times throughout the year so that only the grapes currently reaching their maximum potential in the current soil and climate conditions are picked. Bright ruby red. Smooth and fresh tannins mix well with a robust alcoholic base. Long, flavorful finish. 20 months in barrique. Suggested pairing: roasted pheasant with grapes.
