Rosso Conero “Decebalo” Riserva 2011, Strologo

The great Dacian military captain, Decebalo, was the bitter rival of the Roman Emperor Trajan. Known for his ferocity and courage, Decebalo preferred to take his own life rather than be taken prisoner by the Roman army. Wide aromatic range that encompasses eucalyptus and myrtle, while layered sensations of liquorice and well-integrated tannins fill the mouth. Fermented and aged in barrique for 15 months, then bottled aged for another year. Suggested pairing: wild boar stew.
