This Bonarda Frizzante by Torre Fornello is a lively red from the Piacenza area: delicious, refreshing, and expressive. It is made from Croatina grapes grown on clayey and silty land, destemmed and soft-crushed in a pneumatic press, then fermented in stainless steel at 26-28°, before maceration for 10-15 days. The second fermentation takes place in pressurised vats for two months.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red colour with a distinctive aroma of violets. The flavour is sweetish, generous, lingering and pleasingly tannic.

Perfect as an aperitif.
