In 1968 Riccardo Falchini planted the first specialized vineyards and ten years later he converted the old wine cellar into a modern wine cellar. With pioneering spirit, Falchini equipped the new cellar with the most advanced machinery for the temperature control of the must and the wines.
The 60 hectares of vineyards and olive trees extend in a beautiful and fascinating landscape of green rolling hills. For over 30 years this winery has been exporting all over the world and has received prized awards and various acknowledgements in international wine competitions and numerous plaudits from the press.
Riccardo’s sons Michael and Christopher were born in the USA but lived, studied and worked in Italy all their lives. Today they are actively involved in the management of the wine estate along with an efficient and young team working in the vineyards and in the cellar.
