At Podere La Villa, the yield-per-hectare is very low, far lower than the maximum level allowed by Chianti Classico DOCG rules, which enhances the concentration of aromas and flavors. Vineyard of Origin: Pargolo, surface 2.25 acres, altitude 690 feet above sea level, southwesterly exposure. Vinified in steel, aged in used oak barriques 6-8 months, and matured in bottle 4 months.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red color with violet tones. Ample perfume, with notes of wild berries, roses and violets, blueberry, graphite and tobacco. Very pleasant across the palate, dense and warm, with soft tannins and good balance. Easy to drink, with a truly delicious voice of Chianti Classico..
