This platform has no central storage warehouse. All the wines are shipped directly from the wineries shown on the website. The shipping costs therefore vary according to the sender’s (winery’s) geographical location, and are shown online when the order is placed, before check-out.
We deliver to all postcodes in the EU within 7 - 10 working days, though exceptions may occasionally apply.
Delivery is FREE OF CHARGE for orders with a value in excess of the prevailing minimum amount set by the winery.
All the suppliers (vendors) on this platform manage the delivery of goods through the best national and international couriers (UPS, AWS, FedEx, Bartolini, SDA, EHD and others), who assume full responsibility for the delivery from their location to the delivery address indicated in your order. All the suppliers follow each delivery closely, and can be reached directly if there are any questions or comments. For special shipping requests, please email the supplier directly at the email address provided.
Most suppliers use a patented packaging system for wine shipments. Thanks to its particular characteristics, it protects the integrity of the products transported to make sure that your wine is safely delivered. There is no extra cost for this premium packaging service.
1. WHERE DOES THE PLATFORM SHIP TO?
EU regulations concerning direct-to-consumer shipments of wine are very complex and continually evolving.
This Platform currently offers direct shipping to the following EU countries:
Austria (A), Belgium (B), Bulgaria (BG), Croatia (HR), Switzerland (CH), Czech Republic (CZ), Germany (D), Denmark (DK), Finland (SF), Greece (GR), Ireland (IE), France (F), Hungary (H), Italy (I), Latvia (LV), Liechtenstein (FL), Lithuania (LT), Luxemburg (L), Netherlands (NL), Portugal (P), Poland (PL), Sweden (S), Slovakia (SK), Slovenia (SLO), Spain (E), United Kingdom (UK).
If you live in one of those countries, the suppliers can send you their wine via ground shipping when it is ready.
We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
* Please note, in conditions of extreme heat during the summer months, or extreme cold during the winter months, the suppliers (the individual wineries) may decide to store the wine while they wait for more favourable weather conditions for shipping. If you feel this may be a problem because of a time sensitive package, please contact the supplier directly and they will arrange delivery when it is best for you.
Orders placed will ship within the next 3 business days. Faster shipping options may be available. Please, email the supplier (the winery) for more information.
All packages are packed in 70% recycled carton containers to ensure proper delivery. The suppliers do everything possible on their end to protect the wine shipments from temperature-related damage. If you are concerned about the weather in your area, you may request a specific shipping date or you may choose a faster shipping method.
You will receive an email containing tracking information once your order is boxed and ready for shipment. Please note, these tracking numbers will not be active until they are scanned by the driver. (For example, if you have an order scheduled to ship on a Monday, we may box it on a Friday and send you the tracking info. However, the tracking info will not be valid until the driver picks it up on Monday.)
2. WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING RATES?
As this platform has no central storage warehouse, all the wines are shipped directly from the wineries on the platform, shipping costs may vary according to the geographical location of the sender.
For standard, non-scheduled delivery, shipping and handling rates will vary. The standard rates for each selection will be reflected in the shopping cart and will update as the cart is updated. Wine: Shipping Rates are based on number of bottles ordered and departure location.
Note: Various EU Countries impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages that may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction by a purchaser from another country without requiring the purchaser, a seller or shipper to possess certain licenses or permits.
This platform does not, as a condition of sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying or obtaining any permits or licenses. Therefore, we recommend that you investigate the possibility of such limitations, and determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages shall be brought into your state from Italy so as to comply with all of your country´s requirements.
Shipping insurance is included for Bartolini/FedEx/UPS/DHL. Additional insurance can be purchased at request. For larger shipments involving valuable goods, we recommend buying additional shipping insurances. The suppliers (vendors) can purchase the shipping insurance for you or you can buy your own. Ocean and air freight have various shipping insurances for various needs.
All the suppliers automatically add insurance to each order placed online. This covers you from any package lost or damaged in transit. If you wish to waive the insurance, you may do so, however, this waives all responsibility from the suppliers.
4. SIGNATURE POLICY
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase wine from the suppliers. All packages sent out by the suppliers REQUIRE a signature upon delivery. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service. Customer comments on their order such as “Please leave on back porch” or “Please leave at front door” will be ignored!
The suppliers will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to them because there was no adult to sign for the wine!
